Rakuten Viber, the world's leading messaging app for easy and secure communication, has launched advanced individual features for teachers, parents, and students during the new academic year. The Japanese-owned communications platform has launched a survey quiz mode for group chats and communities around the world, including Bangladesh. In addition to the thematic field in the community, teachers can quickly understand how much the students have understood in the recently concluded class in terms of understanding various things through the quiz mode.

The quiz can be completed in three simple steps. First, select a community or group chat and click on the poll icon at the bottom of the screen. Next, turn on the quiz mode from the pop-up, add questions and possible answers, and add a brief explanation of why the answer is correct. Finally, select the correct answer and click Create. If the quiz is live in community and group chat, other users will see the correct answers with explanations provided by the rest of the participants. One participant will see the rest of the responses after submitting his or her own answer. The answers of everyone participating in the quiz in the community will be kept confidential, it will also apply to the person who will create the quiz. They will see the responses to each question. In the case of group chat, the quiz maker will be able to track the votes of each respondent.

It is very useful for those who are interested in understanding the limits of knowledge or knowing the opinions of community members or creating interesting quizzes on various topics. This feature will be helpful for teachers in the country who are less technically proficient and who are still trying to master certain computer software. Finally, the digitalization of the teaching process takes place overnight. Within a few days, the entire educational activity was transferred from the classroom to the homes of students and teachers. In this situation, many Viber communities have been formed to maintain communication between students, teachers, and parents to keep the whole educational process running. The number of subscribers in the Viber community has now doubled globally compared to the same period last year, which proves the effectiveness of Viber in balancing these adverse times.

Over the past few months, as a pledge to support educational activities, Viber has introduced a number of effective features that will be helpful to teachers, students, and parents alike. The list includes media gallery improvements and My Note's upcoming feature 'Reminders'. Reminders will help remind users during assignments, projects, and meetings. GIF and sticker reactions will be quite effective in making the classroom and parent community enjoyable. Instant voice and video messaging are always very effective in sending short and fast messages in a busy time.
