online. In the meantime, various countries of the world including the United
States, China, India have expanded in the world market with the benefit of
digital trade. Merchant Bay is going to organize Digital Trade Week for the
first time in Bangladesh to take Bangladesh forward in this trend of global
digital trade.
Digital Trade Week is going to be held for 6 days from 15th to 21st October. This trade week, Bangladeshi suppliers and international buyers will virtually meet. In Digital Trade Week, Merchant Bay will promote the opportunities and benefits of digital trade with Bangladesh to the world. Throughout this week, countless buyers will come from all over the world to find the right suppliers from Bangladesh and explore business opportunities better. Merchant Bay will promote verified suppliers to buyers and help buyers better understand the market and suppliers in Bangladesh.
Speakers from home and abroad will take part in various sessions on the same day of Digital Trade Week. There, industry leaders will present valuable information and discussions on digital trade, leadership, and the garment industry in Bangladesh.

There is no separate registration fee to participate. By participating here, a supplier can connect with countless buyers from 50 countries around the world. A success manager will be appointed with each supplier so that suppliers can connect with buyers. The Success Manager will match and connect with buyers considering a supplier's product, factory capacity, and other factors.
However, to get a chance to participate in the Digital Trade Week, a supplier has to verify his information. Only through Merchant Bay can verified suppliers participate in the Digital Trade Week. You can apply from your own profile to verify. Based on the application, a representative from Merchant Bay will scrutinize the information provided to suppliers in accordance with the verified protocol. Then the verified badge will be given to that supplier. The products and profiles of verified suppliers will be promoted to buyers worldwide through Success Manager.
Junior Chamber International (JCI), Bangladesh has already joined Merchant Bay Digital Trade Week as a strategic partner. JCI Bangladesh will invite more than two lakh members from more than a hundred countries to visit Digital Trade Week. They will look into business opportunities with Bangladesh.
